Descriptions throughout the book include details on growing and using each plant, its specific health benefits, and recipes. The first section of book provides an overview of these 150 “superfoods” in a table summarizing nutrients and benefits. The second section examines each plant in more detail. Unfortunately, this section is not in alphabetical order (starting with okra and ending with ginger!) The third section comprises of an alphabetical ailment chart from abscesses to worms. An index rounds this amazing text at the very end. This book is not only a guide to healthy plants but a recipe for good health.
